Alongside rigorous training in tea ceremony and flower arrangement, she nurtured what she calls an “inner philosophy unbound by religion,” which became the foundation of her unique path as a shaman.
Awakened through profound spiritual experiences, she now shares her gifts through personal guidance, workshops, and international collaborations.
As director of a nonprofit affiliated with the International Association of Healing in Germany and founder of Office Niji, she continues to support individuals in reconnecting with the unseen and with the deeper

*Reading Akiyo Tsurumi’s book(s) beforehand will help you engage with the retreat on an even deeper level:

Spiritual Code: The Shamanic World of Akiyo Tsurumi
Co-authored by Akiyo Tsurumi and Ryusei Fujimura

This book invites readers into the visionary world of Akiyo Tsurumi, an extraordinary tarot reader and shaman whose awakening was catalyzed by a near-death experience. For the first time, she speaks of her unique spiritual dimension, where tarot becomes an extension of perception itself. In dialogue with philosopher Ryusei Fujimura, she reveals a path of shamanic awakening that is both personal and universally resonant.

Releasing the Dragon: Spiritual Code II
Co-authored by Akiyo Tsurumi and Ryusei Fujimura

In this sequel, shaman Akiyo Tsurumi and philosopher Ryusei Fujimura delve deeper into her unique “awakened” shamanism, exploring visions born of near-death experience and the presence of the deity Jagannath. Through their dialogue, they open a path to understanding the true nature of human existence and its profound connection with the greater cosmos.
